DENNY: I like it. ALAN: What’s that, Denny? DENNY (drawing a deep smoke from his cigar, then): That Tumblr likes us. ALAN: Tumbler? DENNY: Tumblr. Without the “e”. ALAN (snarkily): Unusual. DENNY: Yep. ALAN: Why do you think this “Tumblr” likes us, Denny? DENNY: It’s simple. ALAN: Oh? DENNY (motioning to self): Denny Crane. ALAN: Of course....

On Earth Defense Force
I rented Earth Defense Force for my 360, mostly because I heard it was terrible. It appears to be a ridiculously easy arcade shooter, where my dude has a rocket launcher that can take down a skyscraper with one rocket. Oh and it never runs out of ammo (although I do have to reload it after every other shot).
The premise is thus: UFOs appear above Earth. People think they are peaceful. Yay! Oh...

Star Trek trailers! (all official and stuff) →
I’ve watched the new trailer a couple more times…. I think I like it. I mean, anything is gonna be better than the train wreck that was Insurrection or the disaster that was Nemesis, right? I also like the reset back to the classic era - I think that The Next Generation was a little too optimistic in some ways, and it’ll be nice to get back to the basics. Then again I...
Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm. Neat!

What’s that kids? A pretty good cam copy of the first trailer for the new JJ Abrams Star Trek movie?
My friend was talking about letting his cat type on his Tumblr account. I’m assuming that he let the kitty give it a try..

Installing updates for Windows Vista on my work laptop (for IE testing! don’t hurt me!), and saw that it was installing this. “Killbits” sound scary. :(

Boston Legal
notthatkindagay:
Is one of the most underrated and underappreciated shows on the tee vee IMHO. It injects an incredible amount of gray area into what we otherwise prefer to be black and white issues, such as tonight’s episode on abortion, and forces one to think critically instead of having gut or knee jerk reactions. I kinda want this show on dee vee dee.
I completely and totally love Boston...
How have I never seen this before?
The 80s were so wonderfully weird.
Rights
Dismal news about gay rights this morning, with Californians choosing to strip the right to marriage for all, Floridians and Arizonians banning gay marriage and Arkansas going to the bizarre and preventing loving families from adopting. Nice job, people.
On a brighter side, Michigan(ers?) voted yes on medicinal marijuana (Prop 1) and stem-cell research (Prop 2); South Dakotans rejected abortion...
