Apple & MobileMe
Apple launched their MobileMe web service suite alongside the iPhone 3G and iPhone OS 2.0 software - it kinda didn’t handle the load very well, resulting in email loss, lag, etc etc etc. They announced shortly after that they were going to give subscribers a free month. What they didn’t announce is that they also were giving trial subscriptions an extra month - thats pretty darn cool....
