I called a couple urgent care places, but none of them take my insurance. Or rather, they would if I were in a different “group,” whatever that means. I just want damn magic pills! Grr. I’m pretty sure that my HMO wants me to be...

– Congresswoman Michele Bachmann, (R-Crazy) Only it happened in ‘76 under President Ford. (via notthatkindagay and robot-heart-politics) I hope Representative Bachmann gets re-elected forever; she’s a gift that keeps on giving crazy amazing quotes like this. (via gregbrown)

Senator Specter (R-PA) just switched political...
gregbrown: Yep, he’s joining the Democratic Party in advance of running in the 2010 primary. This will give the Democratic caucus 60 votes once this business with Franken works itself out, which is enough to avoid a filibuster if every Democrat votes for cloture. He has a statement out explaining his choice. (But probably the real reason is that his poll numbers looked AWFUL against his...

The Bride Was Beautiful →
13smiles: hautelikecouture: jeninla: rillawafers: This was a tough series of photos to get through: The Bride Was Beautiful. Katie Kirkpatrick, 21, held off cancer to celebrate the happiest day of her life. […] Her organs were shutting down but it would not stop her from marrying Nick Godwin, 23, who was in love with Katie since 11th grade. The last photo is just heartbreaking. (via...
